Hello, my name is Izreal Cary. I am a licensed, certified speech-language pathologist. I graduated with a Bachelor of Science degree in Communicative Disorders from Jackson State University, and earned a Master of Science from The University of Mississippi. For more than a decade, I have worked with preschool and school aged children who present with various speech and
language needs in Illinois.
As a father of two young children, I recognize the importance of modeling good communication. It is my desire to assist in improving the lives of individuals and families who struggle physically, emotionally, and psychologically from the negative impacts of communication problems.
My future goals include creating a greater awareness of these disorders, and my profession in communities with limited or no adequate resources. I would like to teach and supervise college students who are interested in treating the speech-language impaired population. I want to have relevant discussions teachers, parents, or anyone who is interested in learning about communicative disorders and other related conditions.
We live in a diverse world with people of many backgrounds, interests, and talents. So, let's embrace language as the thread that connects us as it weaves unbiased, infinite journeys filled with meaningful experiences to evolve.
